1 c chopped celery
1 c chopped onion
2 c peeled, chopped potatoes
2 cans clams
¾ c butter
¾ c flour
1 pint ½ & ½
1 pint milk
1 ½ tsp salt
½ tsp sugar
1 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Put onion, celery, & potatoes in pot. Drain clams & pour juice over veggies. Simmer 20 min.
In a smaller pan melt butter & stir in flour. Slowly stir in ½ & ½ , milk, along with salt, pepper & sugar. When mixed & smooth slowly pour into veggie pot, mix well.
Pour clams into chowder mixture & simmer until heated through.
