8 egg whites
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. sugar
1 bag mini marshmallows
1 pt. whipping cream
Cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar. Beat until it begins to thicken. Gradually add sugar. Beat very stiff and dry, 20 to 30 minutes. Spread in 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 275º for 1 hour. Remove from oven and cool. While this is baking and cooling, soak 3/4 package mini marshmallows in whipping cream. When baked mixture is thoroughly cool, beat marshmallows and cream mixture until stiff. Spread on baked mixture. When ready to serve, top with cherry pie filling.
