Ingredients: 1 lbs Polska Kielbasa sausage, cubed (Eckrich preferred) 1 Onion, chopped (Large yellow or sweet) ½ Green bell pepper, chopped ½ Red (bell) pepper, chopped (optional) 1 can chicken broth (Campbells preferred) 1 can long grain rice (measure out using chicken broth can) 1 can water Kitchen Bouquet Cajun seasoning (optional)

Directions:Cut sausage into ¼ coins Using a deep/fryer skillet on high heat, brown sausage Season with cajun seasoning (optional) Add onion and bell pepper and simmer for a few minutes Mix in Chicken Broth, Rice, and water. Give it a good stir. Add a couple of splashes of Kitchen Bouquet and stir. You want the color of a medium-dark penny. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low for 25 minutes. Do not stir or remove lid till done. |

Notes: Granny Pharr's quick and easy Jambalaya. Rick always makes a double batch for the family. "Great leftover". Different color bell peppers are just for show. They don't add much flavor. Red or sweet (bell) peppers are not spicy.
