2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 cup Crisco shortening
4 tablespoons of cocoa
1 cup water
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cake
Sift together flour and sugar in a bowl. In a saucepan, mix butter, crisco shortening, cocoa and water. Stir continuously and bring to a boil. Pour mixture over the flour and sugar.

Beat well.

Add buttermilk, vanilla, cinnamon and baking soda. Mix in the slightly beaten eggs. Beat the mixture well.

Pour into a 9x13 sheet pan until done.


Frosting
1 stick butter
4 tablespoons cocoa
6 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1 box powdered sugar

In a saucepan, mix butter, cocoa and milk. Bring to a boil. Add vanilla, pecans and powdered sugar.

While cake is still warm, spread frosting over cake.
