1 beef tenderloin (whole)
1 T softened butter
1/4 cup green onion (chopped)
2 T butter
2 T soy sauce
1 t dijon mustard
3/4 cup sherry

Directions:
Directions:
Spread 2 T soft butter on tenderloin. Bake 20 minutes at 425.

Cook onion in 2 T butter. Add soy sauce in onions, stir in sherry. Heat mixture to a boil. Pour over meat.

Continue baking at 425, baste often (approx. 3 servings per pound)

Cooking time:
4-6 lbs = 45-60 minutes
2-3 lbs = 40-50 minutes
