1 1/2 cups of butter (3 sticks) - softened
3/4 cups powdered sugar
1 T vanilla
1/2 t salt
3 cups flour
1 12 oz packing of Nestle Holiday Chips (red, green, and chocolate chips)
1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla and salt until creamy. Gradually add flour. Stir in chips and nuts.
2. Shape into 1 1/4 inch balls.
3. Bake 8 1/2 - 9 minutes at 375.
4. Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
5. Cool then sprinkle with more powdered sugar, if desired.
