3 T sliced almonds, toasted
2 T butter
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
1 cup green beans
1 1/4 cup uncooked instant white rice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Spread almonds on baking pan and bake 5 minutes, until lightly brown.
Melt butter in pan, add onion and sauté until tender. Add chicken broth and lemon pepper. Bring to boil, add green beans. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 7 minutes or until beans are tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir rice into pan and cover. Remove pan from heat. Let stand 5 minutes until liquid is absorbed. Fluff rice and stir in almonds.
