Brisket Recipe

Beef Rub of choice
3-4 lb trimmed brisket
BBQ sauce of choice

Directions:
Directions:
Spread rub over all surfaces of brisket.
Leave in fridge 30min-24hrs.
Add sauce to bottom of slow cooker.
Nestle brisket into sauce. Cook on low til tender, 8+hrs.
Preheat oven to 390º.
Remove brisket, place on tray. Cook sauce in pan to thicken.
Drizzle brisket w/olive oil. Roast in oven 15 min. (browning?)
Baste generously w/ 'syrup-like' sauce over brisket.
Return to oven. Baste again after 5 min.
Carmelize sauce, 5-10 min. Let rest. Carve against the grain.
Serve with remaining sauce.
