2 ¼ cups all purpose flour plus 2 Tbsp
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (12 oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in flour mixture gradually. Stir in chocolate chips.

Dump the cookie dough out on a cookie sheet. With the heel of your hand spread the dough out evenly. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool completely. Loosen edges of cookies from pan and dump out on cutting board. Cut in squares and enjoy. Cookies freeze well.
