12 oz fully cooked polish sausage links
1 pkg instant mashed potatoes
2 Tbsp sliced green onion
½ C shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
Directions:
Cut sausage links lengthwise, cutting to, but not through, opposite side. Arrange sausages on a small roasting rack (to keep out of drippings) placed in a ¾qt roasting or baking pan. Prepare potatoes according to pkg directions, except omit salt and decrease liquid by 2 Tbsp; stir in onion. Spoon potato mixture down center of cut sausage links.

To bake: bake uncovered in a 350º oven for 25-30 minutes or until heated through. Top with cheese. Bake 1-2 minutes more or until cheese is melted.

To microwave: microwave covered with wax paper on high for 3.5-4.5 minutes. Top with cheese. Microwave uncovered for 30-60 seconds more.
