2 lbs. frozen hash brown potatoes
1/2 cup chopped onion (can use dried minced onion but use less)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup melted butter
2 cups cheddar cheese or Velveeta cheese
1 cup milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream

Directions:

Mix all of the ingredients in a 9X13inch pan. Cover with foil. Bake for 1 hour at 350º.
