Bacon
1 lb ground beef
1 c onion diced
1 c carrots diced
4 cloves garlic minced
4 c beef broth
28 oz tomatoes or sauce
2 T tomato paste
4 c green cabbage coarse chop
1/2 c long grain rice
1 t paprika
1/4 t thyme
1/2 t oregano
2 bay leaves
1 T balsamic
1 T Worcestershire
1 T fish sauce or soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Parsley to serve

Cook bacon and set aside. Cook beef, onion, carrots lg saucepan over med high heat. Can drain excess grease. Add garlic an cook about a min. Add broth, tomatoes and paste, cabbage, rice, seasonings, bacon. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until rice is tender about 15-20 min. Mix in vinegar, Worcestershire, and fish sauce. Add salt and pepper and remove bay leaves. Serve with parsley.
