15 peppers rinsed and cored(I like to use assorted colors)

3 lbs of 80/20 ground beef

1 lb ground pork

4 cups of cooked rice

1 yellow onion minced

parsley granulated garlic, thyme, salt and pepper(all to taste)
Sauce

1 ½ cans of milk

1 cup of sour cream all blended until smooth.

3 cans of tomato soup

Add the ingredients together with the exception of the peppers and sauce. I sometimes add 3 shakes Worcestershire sauce) I add the rice gradually; you may need less depending in the texture. Stuff the peppers with the raw meat mixture. Spray a large baking pan and stuff the peppers. put in baking dish and pour sauce over the peppers. cover with foil and bake at 350 for 2 hours or until internal temperature reaches 180.

My childhood friend Harriet's mom gave this recipe to my mom. She had been in a concentration camp during WW2 and was one of the few lucky ones to survive.
