1 c Brown sugar
3 T Flour
2 T Cornstarch
1/4 tsp Salt
1 3/4 c Milk
2 Eggs (separated)
1 tsp butter
1tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Blend together brown sugar, flour & salt. Then add milk & cook until thick. Just before removing from stove stir in beaten egg yolks (mixed first with a little of the hot thickened filling) butter and vanilla. (Save the whites for meringue) Cover with Meringue, brown slow in oven at 325 15-20 min.
