3 c Milk (scalded)
3 Egg Yolks (beaten)
3 Egg Whites (separated for Merengue)
4 T Sugar
3 T Cornstarch
pinch of Salt
1 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Sugar, cornstarch, salt, & yolks. Then add that mixture to the hot milk slowly stirring rapidly (to avoid being lumpy) Cook slowly until thickened, then add vanilla and pour into a baking dish. Top with Meringue from the egg whites(& 6T of sugar).
