Sugar - 1 cup
Butter - 1/2 cup
Molasses - 1/4 cup
1 Egg
Flour - 2 1/4 cup
Baking soda - 2 tsps
Cinnamon - 1 tsp
Ginger - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar.

Add molasses and egg, beat lightly. Mix in dry ingredients.

Chill 1 hour.

Pinch into 1-inch pieces and roll into balls.

Roll in sugar, flatten with the bottom of a glass.

Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes.
