4 (6 oz.) bags stuffing mix – Mrs. Cubbison’s – half Cornbread; half Seasoned bread
4 cups celery, finely chopped
4 cups onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted (optional)
4 cups chicken broth
1 lb. Pork sausage, browned and crumbled
8 oz. oysters, cleaned and chopped
6 oz. pecans, chopped
2-1/2 cups (2 large) Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped
parsley (optional)
garlic and onion powder, sprinkled generously on top; mix in

Directions:
Directions:
Combine stuffing mix with vegetables, sausage, oysters, and butter/margarine.

Stir broth in gradually.

Spoon into casserole dishes (two 3-qt. dishes or one 9x13” casserole*).

Bake covered 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Remove cover and bake 5-10 minutes longer for crisper top.
