Directions:
Mix together flour and salt. (I have found that the only lard that i can make good pastry with is the Tenderflake Lard).

Add lard to flour and cut in with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse oatmeal.

In a 1 cup measuring cup combine vinegar and egg. Add water to make ½ cup.
Gradually stir in liquid into flour mixture. ADD ONLY ENOUGH WATER TO MAKE DOUGH CLING TOGETHER.

Gather dough into a ball and divide into 6 portions. If desired, wrap unused portions and refrigerate or freeze

6 Single Crust Pies or 3 Double Crust Pie

Personal Notes:
When i make this pie crust I roll out all the dough and put into foil pie shells and freeze, anytime you want to make a pie the pie crusts just need about ½ hour to thaw out and your ready to go.

This was my Mothers recipe and she loved making pies, which was her specialty.
