2 cps flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1 cp oil
2 cps sugar
4 eggs
3 cps grated carrots
1 cp walnuts or pecans - optional

Icing= The cream cheese canned icing is fine but here is a homemade also

8 oz cream cheese
4 cps icing sugar
1/2 cp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix eggs, sugar and oil
Add dry ingredients
Stir in grated carrots

Put in greased and floured tube pan Bake at 325 1 hr 30min.

Cool , loosen sides from pan and invert on plate , Ice once cooled, can slice in half to ice in middle too.
