3/4 c sugar (can substitute honey for a slightly healthier version)
1/2 c juice from one orange
1/2 c water
12 oz bag of cranberries (rinsed)
1 cinnamon stick
zest from one orange with a few curled pieces reserved for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, orange juice and water in large saucepan over medium heat.
Add cranberries, cinnamon stick and orange zest.
Simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently.
When nearly all the cranberries have burst, remove from heat and let cool.
Discard cinnamon stick.
Pour into serving dish, garnish with orange peels, cover and refridgerate until served.

Sauce with thicken considerably when cool.
