SWEET POTATO PUDDING

3 lbs. yams
½ lb butter
1 ½ c. sugar
6 large eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 13oz. can evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes, peal and mash. Set aside. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time to cream mixture and then add potatoes. Add vanilla and evaporated milk. Pour into 2 8x8x2inch casseroles. Set casseroles in large pan with boiling water to top of casserole dishes. Bake at 350 for at least one hour (until firm).
