½ bunch - romaine lettuce
½ bunch - red leaf lettuce
1 pt. - strawberries
1 c. - Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
½ c. - walnuts, coarsely chopped
¼ c. - red wine vinegar
½ c. - sugar
2 - garlic cloves, minced
salt & pepper to taste
1 c. - vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Wash & drain lettuce. Tear into bite size pieces. Clean hull & slice strawberries. Combine lettuces, strawberries, cheese & walnuts in salad bowl. Make dressing by whisking together vinegar, sugar, garlic, salt & pepper. Gradually add oil while whisking vigorously to create an emulsion. Pour dressing over salad just before serving & toss.
