1 cup Sugar
½ cup Butter or Margarine
2 Egg Whites
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract or 1/2 teaspoon Flavoring
1½ cups Flour
1¾ Baking Powder
½ cup Milk
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF (325ºF if using a dark non-stick baking pan)
Prepare pan (butter or non-stick spray)
In a large mixing bowl, cream together sugar and butter
In a separate bowl, sift together flour and baking powder
Add flour and baking powder mix to creamed mixture
Beat in egg whites ½ at a time
Stir in vanilla or flavoring
Stir in milk until batter is smoooth
Bake about 30-40 min - until cake springs back at touch
