1 1/2 C. Sugar
1/2 C. Shortening
1/2 C. Butter
2 Eggs

2 3/4 C. Flour
1 t. Baking Soda
2 t. Cream of Tarter
1/4 t. Salt

1/4 C. Sugar
2 t. Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together dry ingredients;
Flour, baking soda, cream of tarter, and salt. Set aside.

Cream together;
Sugar, shortening, butter. Add in the eggs and mix.

Add the dry ingredients to the bowl. Mix for one minute. Refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes. Roll into walnut size balls.

Heat oven to 400*

Mix together the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll each ball in the sugar cinnamon mixture until well coated. Place onto baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Bake for 8 minutes. They will crack as they cool.
