Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Just an hour’s drive to the southwest of Toronto, lies the small city of Kitchener.
It is home to a large Mennonite population. Their influence can be found throughout the community but most noticeable is there contribution to the culinary life of the region.
My mother bought me a cookbook written by a woman from one of the settlement families.
This recipe is one of my favourite go-to recipes….it’s simple, versatile and delicious!
Enjoy creating.
