1 cup oleo
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp soda
1 scant tsp cream of tartar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
2 3/4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream oleo and sugar, add eggs. Beat well. Add soda, cream of tartar, salt and vanilla. Then, add flour and mix in well. Will be stiff. Refrigerate for 4 hours.

Form into 1 inch balls. Roll balls in a mixture of 4 Tablespoons sugar and 4 or 5 teaspoons cinnamon. Place the balls on a cookie sheet 2” apart and smash with a flat bottom glass.

Bake 10 min. in a 375 degree oven. Makes a big batch. If you really like cinnamon, use more in the sugar mix that you roll them in!
