1/2 cup butter or margarine [originally 1 1/2 but the 1 appears to be scribbled out)
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons milk

TOPPING
3/4 cup sugar
3 [or 2] teaspoons flour
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter

Directions:

sift dry ingredients.

combine with butter, egg yolk to which the milk has been added.

Line a coffee cake tin.

Spread mixture with finger.

Cover with apples.

For the top, 3/4 cup sugar, 3 [or 2?] teaspoon flour, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, 2 tablespoons butter.

Bake 375º 40 minutes.
