3 eggs, beaten
1 cup raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2½ cups flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Combine eggs, raisins and vanilla; let stand for 1 hour, cover in plastic wrap.
Cream together butter and sugars.
Add flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda to sugar mixture, mixing well.
Blend in egg-raisin mixture and oatmeal. (Dough will be stiff.)
Drop by heaping teaspoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet or roll in small balls and flatten slightly on cookie sheet.
Bake at 350ºF for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
