1 lb. 90% lean ground beef 1 tbsp canola oil 1 can 28 oz. whole peeled tomatoes 3 cloves minced garlic 2 tsp italian season blend 1 24 oz jar tomato Basil Pasta sauce 3 cups chicken broth 8 broken pieces of lasagna(large pieces). 1 cip ricotta cheese 1/2 cup grated parm cheese 2 tbsp jarred pest and fresh basil.

In a large dutch oven heat oil and cook beef season with salt pepper add tomatoes (holding on to juice in can) and crush up with spoon. Add in garlic and italian seasoning. Now add tomato juice from can and chick broth. scrape bottonm of dutch oven, reduce heat to simmer for 15 min. Cook lasagna in a pot of heated water with salt Drain and combine with ricotta in a bowl. In same bowl add parm cheese and jarred pesto. Combine bowl into dutch oven stir remove from heat. Serve in bowls with any a dallop of ricotta on top and fresh basil sprinkled over.

A hearty crusty bread and red wine. Add a 1/4 cup of pasta water if you want more broth.
