2½ cups all-purpose flour

4 t. baking powder

1 T. granulated sugar

2 t. kosher salt

2 cups buttermilk OR 8 T. buttermilk powder + 2 cups water (mix & let sit to thicken)

½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450*

2. Add flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt to a medium bowl. Use a whisk to sift ingredients.

3. Pour in the buttermilk and stir until mostly combined, being careful not to overwork the batter.

4. Pour melted butter into an 8X8 or 9X9 inch baking pan. Place the dough on top of the butter and use a spatula to evenly spread the dough out to the edges of the pan.

5. CUT the unbaked dough into 9 squares. (I forgot this piece!)

6. Bake for 28 minutes, OR until the tops are golden brown. ( Check often & plan on less time)

7. Allow the butter to be absorbed into the biscuits before cutting and serving.

These are delicious and easy! Watch the biscuits because 28 minutes in the oven may be too long!
