1 lb cubed chicken breast
1 tsp. salt
1 med. Onion, chopped
1 tsp. ground cumin
11/2tsp garlic powder
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
½ tsp. pepper
1 15oz. can Great Northern Beans, drained and rinsed
¼ tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup sour cream
1 8oz. can green chilies, chopped
½ cup whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan, sauté chicken, onion, and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add beans, broth, chilies, and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 30 minutes. Add sour cream and cream and heat through and serve. (I always double and sometimes triple the recipe.)
