fruit preserver or lemon juice
sugar – optional

If freezing apples for pie, you’ll also need the following ingredients per pie:

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. flour
Dash of salt

You'll also need:

Pie pan

1. Wash, core, peel and slice apples.
2. Squeeze lemon juice (or other preserve) on apples, mix.
3. For pies, fill pie pan to determine how much you need for pie.
4. Add all other pie ingredients, sprinkle on apples and mix.

Store in airtight bags until ready to use.
