1 box Dunkin Hines yellow cake mix
1 3 oz. pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup cold fruity wine
1 to 1 1/4 cups walnuts or pecans, chopped

Glaze:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup powered sugar
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup same wine as used in the cake

Directions:

Mix all ingredients, except the nuts. Mix with mixer for 3 minutes.
Fold in 3/4 cup nuts.
Grease and flour 10" tube pan.
Sprinkle remaining 1/4-1/2 cup nuts on the bottom of the pan.
Pour batter into tube pan.
Bake 325° for 50 to 60 minutes.
Prick the cake with a toothpick to make holes to prepare for the glaze.

Note: If using a cake mix with pudding already in the mix, omit the instant pudding and use 3 eggs instead of 4 and 1/3 cup of oil instead of 1/2 cup.

Glaze:
Combine ingredients and boil for about 1 minute.
Drizzle over the cake which has been pricked with toothpick holes.
Leave in pan overnight or at least 3 hours.
