2 pounds green and red tomatoes, cut in to 1" pieces
1/2 each red and green pepper
1/3 cup onion
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/4 tsp or to Taste of Old Town Spice Blend*


Directions:
Directions:
Bring tomatoes, sugar, peppers, onion and seasoning to boil in pot over medium-high heat. Reduce to medium-low and simmer vigorously, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens to jam-like consistency, about 1 hour. Let cool to room temperature. Pour in to jar, cover and refrigerate.

*I got this spice mixture from Old Town Spice and Tea Merchants in Temecula, California. It has onion, garlic, pepper, lemon peel, sea salt and cayenne in it. You could use whatever spices you like.
