Baked French Toast Recipe

10 slices bread, cubed
8 oz. raspberry
8 oz. blackberry
10 strawberries, trimmed and sliced
8 oz. blueberries

Egg Mixture:
1/2 cup water, warm
3 Tbsp. honey
5 eggs (3 for 1/2 recipe)
2 1/2 cups milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together warm water and honey.
3. Add eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and salt, whisk.
4. Place bread cubes into a well-greased cast iron pan.
5. Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes and submerge all of the bread cubes. Let soak for 20 minutes.
6. Arrange the fruit on top. (I just use whatever berries I have, and not necessarily that many)
7. Bake for approximately 1 hour. (maybe 30 minutes for 1/2 recipe.
8. Serve with yoghurt and maple syrup.

I usually make a half recipe of this, which is plenty for the two of us and we have leftovers even then.
