3½ cups finely shredded red cabbage
1½ cups shredded carrots
¼ cup finely chopped onion
¾ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons white vinegar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 shredded Granny Smith apples (I leave the skins on)

Directions:
In a medium bowl combine cabbage, carrots, apples and onions. In a small bowl blend mayonnaise, vinegar, salt and pepper. Pour mayonnaise dressing over cabbage carrot mixture. Toss to coat well. Chill.
