2 eggs
6 tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk, scalded
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs slightly in bowl. Add sugar and salt. Mix well. Add scalded milk slowly, stirring constantly. Add vanilla and stir. Pour into custard cups or 2 qt. glass baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Set cups or dish in pan containing water up to two-thirds depth. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. Insert tip of knife in center of custard. If knife comes out clean, custard is done.
