1/3 cup unsalted butter, divided…
3/4 pound of medium shrimp, shelled and deveined…
4 garlic cloves, minced…
1/4 cup chicken broth…
1 t hot sauce of your choice…
Juice of 1/2 lemon…
Salt and pepper, to taste…
Directions:
Directions:
Place 2 T butter in a medium size sauce pan over medium-high heat…
Add shrimp, cook for 3 or 4 minutes (do not over cook shrimp, they will be tough) just until shrimp are opaque, turning once, only…
Remove shrimp from pan with slotted spoon, set a side…
Add garlic to pan, cook until fragrant, about 1 minute, pour in chicken broth, hot sauce and lemon juice…
Cook for 2 minutes, adding your salt and pepper to sauce…
Stir in remaining butter, when blended, add shrimp back in pan and stir gently to warm shrimp through…
Do not cook for more than 2 minutes more…
Remove from pan, add to a small bowl and serve with the rest of your dinner…
Enjoy!

Serve with green salad, 3/4 cup cooked rice and steamed broccoli…
Be sure you have a baguette loaf of bread to soak up garlic butter left in bottom of shrimp bowl, oh, so good!
Cold beer or red wine goes well with meal, too!
