1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp allspice
1 cup shortening
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup sour milk
4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup raisins
2 tsp baking powde
1cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugars and shortening. Mix in sour milk. Combine salt, cinnamon, allspice, baking powder and soda with flour. Stir all ingredients together. Add raisins and nuts mixing well. Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until lightly golden.
