3/4 Cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1/3 Cup Cold Butter or Margarine
1 Cup Blueberries
1 Egg
1/2 Cup Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Powdered Sugar (optional)

WALNUT STREUSEL
Mix 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts and firmly packed brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter

In a well greased and floured-dusted 9" tube pan or layer cake pan with removable bottom, pat about 1/2 of the walnut struesel in an even layer. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix flour sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. With a pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in the butter until mixture resembles course crumbs. Gently stir in the berries.
In a bowl beat eggs lightly with milk and vanilla. Sit this mixture into the berry mixture just until combined. Spread 1/2 of the batter onto the struesel lined pan. Sprinkle with the remaining struesel, then pour the remaining batter and spread.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let stand in the pan for 20 minutes, Then remove rim and let cool. Dust with powdered sugar if desired
