"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Personal Notes:
I guess I don’t have to say much about the Columbia “Columbian” Steak House, we went there a lot when you all were little and I imagine you remember it well. Chris usually went to sleep in my lap or against my shoulder while I was busy chowing down on the Columbia Special (yum!). I sure wish they hadn’t closed up shop in Louisville. We also used to hit the one in Frankfort every now and then but that one is gone too. I haven’t tried this recipe, it’s another one I pulled out of the newspaper. 01/03/06
