1 lb shortening
1/4 lb butter
5 egg yolks
2 pkgs yeast
pinch of salt
grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
5 1/2 cups flour (sifted)
Directions:
Directions:
Put flour in bowl, add shortening & butter and mix like pie dough
Add yeast to sour cream and put in flour
Add beatten egg yolks
Blend well
Put in refrigerator to chill over night.
In morning roll out, cut into squares & fill with nuts or other filling
Bake at 375º for 10-15 minutes
