½ loaf French Bread (8 oz) cut into cubes (stale bread works best)
½ cup Butter
1 cup packed Brown Sugar
6 Eggs
2 cups Milk
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tsp Cinnamon, divided
1 T Brown Sugar for topping
Powdered Sugar for topping (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425º, and butter a 13 x 9" baking pan & set aside.
2. In a small pan, melt butter over medium heat. Then stir in brown sugar until
dissolved and smooth. Poor into bottom of the 9X13 pan, and spread evenly.
3. Add bread cubes to the pan, evenly spreading over the butter mixture.
4. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, & 1 tsp of cinnamon.
Pour mixture over top of bread cubes and make sure all pieces are saturated.
Sprinkle remaining 1 tsp cinnamon and 1 T brown sugar over top.
5. Bake for 25-30 miniutes, until top is golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar,
if desired.

Make the night before, cover with plastic wrap, and store in the fridge, then bake as directed the next morning.
