2 lb stew beef
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup white wine or beef broth
2-3 potatoes peeled and cubed
2-3 medium carrots peeled and chunked
1 4oz can mushrooms (optional)

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in crockpot
Cover, cook on low 10-12 hours
You can also cook on high 3-4 hours and low 2-3

From Mom - set to cook before you leave for work.

If gravy is too thin, thicken with 1 tbsp flour and 2 tbsps water whisked together. Continue adding same measurements until thick enough. (You probably won't need to do this at all)
