Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 wedge Brie cheese (8-10 ounces)
1/2 cup apricot jam (hide this from Kate)
1 1/2 tablespoon orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier)
2-3 tablespoons toasted sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Trim top rind from cheese wedge. Place cheese on serving dish.

In a small pan, heat jam and liqueur until mixture is hot. Do NOT boil.

Pour some of the hot sauce over cheese and save remainder for adding later, if needed.

Sprinkle the toasted almonds over the top.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe came from the internet. I used Triple Sec for the liqueur and usually use a baby Brie instead of a wedge. You can serve it with crisp crackers or thin sliced, toasted french bread (Pepperidge Farm Twin Loaves are good for this – I lightly butter and toast on both sides in the oven). 02/02/05
