1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
2 Tbsp. Crisco
1/2 c. crushed walnuts
1 c. raisins
2 c. cold water

3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2-2 Hershey Bar

Preheat oven 300º

Mix first 9 ingredients in saucepan and boil for 5 minutes. Let cool to lukewarm.
Mix flour and baking soda and add to the saucepan. Grease and flour angel food cake pan and bake about an hour until toothpick comes out clean. Turn onto a plate and add broken pieces of Hershey bar on top of the cake. As it melts, spread on the top and sides of cake. Let cool. Store at room temperature, do not put in a cold room or in the refrigerator.
