Ingredients: MEAT: ¾ pound flank steak
MEAT MARINATE: 2 teaspoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon sherry ½ teaspoon ginger ½ teaspoon sesame oil
Marinate meat for 30 minutes
SAUCE: 1 tablespoon cornstarch 4 tablespoons ketchup[ ¾ cup chicken broth 1 tablespoon oyster sauce ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce ½ teaspoon sugar
VEGETABLES: 1 bell pepper, julienned 1 onion, julienned 2 stalks celery, thin sliced 2 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 can pineapple chunks (drain juice into sauce mixture)
NOODLES: 3 packages Chinese chow mien noodles (no substitutes!):

Directions:1. Partially boil noodles; 3 minutes 2. Drain noodles; spread single layer on greased baking sheets 3. Bake noodles at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, flipping after 10 minutes 4. Stir fry onions and celery with brown sugar; set aside 5. Stir fry beef, add tomatoes and pineapple; set aside 6. Pour sauce mixture into hot wok, stirring until thick and clear 7. Add noodles to sauce mixture 8. Add vegetables 9. Add meat, tomato and pineapple mixture |
