Peanut Brittle


Ingredients:

2 cups sugar
1 cup Karo Syrup
1 cup water
2 cups Raw peanuts
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Vanilla
Extra butter for greasing cookie sheet

Directions:
Directions:
1. Grease cookie sheet with butter set aside.
2. Combine butter baking soda and vanilla In a large sauce pan over medium heat. Stir constantly and bring to a boil until mixture spins like a thread with drizzled from your spoon.
3. Add peanuts and continue steering the boiling mixture until it turns a light brown (like a paper bag)
4. Add bowl of butter baking soda and vanilla mix until butter is melted and mixture is foaming from the baking soda.
5. Pour out onto a prepared cookie sheet spread mixture out with fork as thin as you can approximately (1/4 inch)
6. Cool completely.
7. Use better knife or hammer to break up in pieces to size that you choose.
