Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 diced bell pepper
1/2 diced onion
3-4 cloves minced garlic
1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
2 diced potatoes (parboiled)
olives (optional)
1 can tomato sauce
1 envelope Sazon (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
water

Directions:
Directions:
Saute the ground beef until almost done. If there is a lot of fat and/or liquid, drain most of it. Add the bell pepper and onion and cook a few minutes until those soften. Add the garlic and cilantro and cook 2 or 3 minutes more. Add in the tomato sauce and Sazon plus salt and pepper. Add the potatoes, olives and one cup of water to start. Bring to a simmer and taste; adjust seasoning if necessary. If you want more liquid, add more water.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Can be used for rellenos de papa (leave out the diced potatoes), pastelillos or serve on the side with rice. The picadillos is also good for tacos. You can use ground turkey or pork instead of beef.
