1/2 c. sugar

2 pkgs yeast - 1/2 c. water

2 tbsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine scalded milk, shortening, sugar and salt. Cool to lukewarm - soften yeast in warm water - add. Stir in beaten eggs - add flour all at once. Dough will be stiff and should be worked until smooth. Works good to finish working it by kneading with fingers.
Turn dough on floured surface and let rest 10 min. Mix 1 3/4 c. sugar and 2 tbsp. cinnamon.
Roll dough into rectangle, brush melted butter and sprinkle with some sugar&cinnamon (not to much) cut in 1 inch slices. Roll each slice in sugar & cinnamon mixture to about a 5 to 6 in circle. Turn and roll again. Place on greased sheet, let stand 30 min, bake at 300º 15 to 18 minutes.
*roll very thin-a glass works best
